With the development of globalization,there are more a nd more collaboration and communication between China and o ther countries.And “Mandarin Fever” has swept all over t he world.At the same time,“Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language” first became a comprehensive discipline in the1980 s.As an emerging discipline,Teaching Chinese as a For eign Language attracts more and more language researchers t o pay attention to it and do some research on it.Because the history of this discipline is not long,var ious teaching ways has not been applied to practice.Nowada ys,the most accepted and used teaching method is tradition al 3P teaching method.There is no denying that this kind o f teaching method has some positive effect on Teaching Chin ese as a Foreign Language.But there are also some problems in this kind of teaching method.At present,language resea rchers have paid the attention to a newly-developing teachi ng method,which is Task-based Language Teaching.This stud ent-centered teaching method was first applied to English t eaching class in China and is being supplemented and improv ed.However,it has not been widely used in teaching practice and researchers hasn't done much researches on the appl ication of the method in Teaching oral Chinese as a Foreign Language.Therefore,applying the method of Task-based Lan guage Teaching to teaching practice and doing deep study an d analysis on this method based on practice reality,are of great importance to the combination of the method of Taskbased Language Teaching and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign L anguage.At first,this paper analyzes the theory basis of Taskbased Language Teaching and reviews the background of the t heory scientific development.The paper makes a comparative complete review to the origination,present status and dev elopment of Task-based Language Teaching theory on the basi s of discussing definition,characteristics and classificat ion about task and analyzing the features of Task-based Lan guage Teaching.Besides,considering the features of Teachi ng Oral Chinese as a Foreign Language in primary oral cours e,the paper analyzes the problems existed in the 3P teachi ng method by using examples.And then,the paper analyzes T ask-based Language Teaching model that adapt to primary ora l course,demonstrates the reason why Task-based Language T eaching model is suited to primary oral course.what's more,the paper make an conclusion by applying the method of Tas k-based Language Teaching to practice and conducting questi onnaire survey.In addition,the paper makes a summary acco rding to teaching practice and the result of questionnaire survey,then analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of T ask-based Language Teaching method and gives some advice wi th expectation of enriching the study about application of Task-based Language Teaching.The paper is made up of six chapters.The first chapter is preface,including the significanc e of topic choosing,literature review,research content an d research methodologies.The second chapter introduce rele vant theory and features of Task-based Language Teaching.T he third chapter is mainly about the features of Teaching O ral Chinese as a Foreign Language,the problems existed in3 P teaching method,the discussion about applicability of T ask-based Language Teaching and analysis of Task-based Lang uage Teaching model that adapt to the course of teaching or al Chinese as a foreign language.The fourth chapter discus s the practice of applying Task-based Language Teaching met hod to the class of teaching oral Chinese as a foreign lang uage,introduce the reality of teaching practice,researchseveral problems that should be noted in teaching practice and make an conclusion on the basis of conducting a questio nnaire survey by analyzing relevant data of survey.The fif th chapter discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Task-based Language Teaching method emphatically and give sever al teaching advice to the practice of Task-based Language T eaching method.The sixth chapter is conclusion.It is main ly about the deficiency of this paper and the expectation o f future study.
