Vocabulary teaching is an important topic in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage, which not only runs through the stage of it. It is also included in the variousteaching. Synonyms teaching is an important and difficult part in vocabulary teaching.From the positive point, the rich synonyms resources in Chinese provides conditionfor our teaching; while on the contrary, students should know the difference betweensynonyms, especially two synonymous or near meaning word-formation componentsof paratactic compound words (synonymy compounding word) is challenges forstudents and teachers.In order to solve the problem of synonymous compound words in teaching, thispaper attempts to study a comprehensive system of synonymous compound wordstheory in teaching. The paper is mainly divided into the following four parts.The first part: introduction. This section mainly explains the reason of choosingthis subject, the author determine the study object and scope of synonymouscompound words, summarizes the conception of it, explains the purpose of researchand the methods used.The second part: in order to understand the synonymous compound words better,this part will carry on the research of ontology. Firstly, the reasons and developmentof the main changes are analyzed; secondly, the synonymous compound words is howto arrange the two juxtaposed morpheme order of this language phenomenonformation rule interpretations; Third, to illustrate the synonymous semantic structureof compound type and characteristics, this paper put the synonym compoundsdecomposition into the study of the morphemes, correlation and interaction. So thatthe whole word outlook can also have a more clear, more comprehensiveunderstanding; finally, it describe the phenomenon of the synonymous compoundwords.The third part: a comprehensive system of theory in teaching about the synonymcompounds in Chinese as a second language is searched. The study combines withauthor’s own teaching practice and the interpretation of the synonymous compound words. It is the first attempt from nouns, adjective classes, classes of verbs and wordclass synonymous compound words segmentation class discrimination to point ateach part of speech the different characteristics of the lexical meaning, grammaticalmeaning, color meaning.The fourth part: according to the problem of the synonymous compound wordsin teaching Chinese as a foreign language the author presents of some effectiveteaching strategies, including: get vocabulary and grammar together, pay attention tothe combination of morphemes on, pay attention to the context of the words inteaching, take method such as guessing the meaning of the word and getting wordstogether.
