"Tang Gifted" Dynasty

So far, the research on The Biography of The Gifted Scholar in The Tang Dynastyhas been limited in the text itself, seldom referred to the relationship between theauthor Xin Wenfang and his text. Few of the researchers mentioned to it, then onlylimited in the poetry opinion of Xin Wenfang. In this article, we will relate TheBiography of The Gifted Scholar in The Tang Dynasty and its author Xin Wenfangwith the background of the society which Xin Wenfang lived in, argue that the greatimportance to Xin Wenfang which The Biography of The Gifted Scholar in The TangDynasty has brought to him. We will discuss it in the following aspects:In the first chapter, we will argue the poetry view of Xin Wenfang according tothe preface which offered by The Biography of The Gifted Scholar in The TangDynasty. Especially for the enlightenment function of the poem, such as the DianlunLunwen written by Cao Pi.In the second chapter, we will argue the reasons why Xin Wenfang list sixemperors of Tang Dynasty. They are Taizong Li Shimin, Xuanzong Li Longji, DezongLi Shi, Xianzong Li Chun, Wenzong Li Ang, Xizong Li Xuan. Furthermore, hereversed the order of Dezong and Xianzong. We will analyze it in four aspcects.In the third chapter, we will discuss Xin Wenfang preferenced for the poets whowere hermits or the people who lived in seclusion. Xin Wenfang wanted to besuccessful through the imperial examination, but it hadn’t come true, so he was so sadthat he want to live in seclusion, travel with the fairy, escape from the actual socity.In the last chapter, we will discuss the reason why Zhang Jiuling is not includedin The Biography of The Gifted Scholar in The Tang Dynasty. For the first part, weprove Zhang Jiuling is a gifted scholar; for the second part, we investigate the edict tothe western written by Zhang Jiuling, and get the preliminary conclusion.
