Task-based teaching method is in the80s of last century by foreign language teaching researchers and second language acquisition researchers put forward has the important influence of a language teaching pattern. So in teaching Chinese as a second language, the oral Chinese course should be the most can reflect the principles of communicative language teaching in a course type and it make full use of task-based teaching method.Through recent years of development, the oral Chinese of teaching Chinese as a second language gradually formed a unique teaching pattern. But some problems have also appeared. Generally, oral Chinese class has the following problems at present. The students do not actively in class, not enough emphasis on oral Chinese classes. Teacher’s teaching too much attention to grammar and new words but neglecting to practice oral Chinese, so that there is lack in interaction in class teaching. As the number of teachers and scholars of research on task-based teaching method increased, teaching skills about task-based teaching method constantly improve. This kind of new form and interactive teaching method is gradually into the practical teaching of Chinese as a second language classroom. Especially in the oral course of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this method provide a good way for the teachers of teaching Chinese as a second language to teach better in oral course.This dissertation consists of seven chapters. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper mainly from two aspects of theory and practice on the application of task-based teaching in oral class.The first part is explanation to the research method, content, purpose and significance.The second chapter is literature review part, which leads to the topic and reviews the relevant research results at home and abroad, analysis of the domestic application of task-based teaching in oral Chinese as a foreign language class. The third chapter is the basic definition and theoretical basis of task-based teaching method in details, theory foreshadowing for the research.The fourth chapter, designed the process of oral Chinese teaching steps. Develop detailed tasks and paid attention to the teaching problem.In the fifth chapter, we must know that any kind of teaching method is not perfect, has its inherent advantages and lacks, such as machinery for group activities, teachers’ role positioning and other issues. So there are still some unsolved problems in the application of task-based teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In view of problems existed in design of concrete activity plan, puts forward the opinion, and conclude that the study of the enlightenment and significance.The last part is the article conclusion. Results are summarized in this paper, through research, and innovation of the article and the deficiency.
