With the development of human history and national progress, innovation and itspractice activities of ideological and political education have played a huge role. Sincemodern times, colleges and universities have been the main positions of theideological and political education, Although Chinese and Japanese have differenthistorical origins and cultural backgrounds, however, they explore actively ideologicaland political education process, trying to find a suitable national conditions’development mode and realization in reform and development. This article analysistwo countries colleges and universities ideological and political education theory bycomparison, summarized similarities and differences of two countries ideological andpolitical education. Aims to critique absorb and learn from the successful experienceof the ideological and political education from Japan, which for better play to theadvantage of China’s ideological and political education, it has great significant toenrich and improve the theoretical system of ideological and political education. Atthe same time, colleges and universities ideological and political education is a subjectwhat combined theoretical discussion and practical application. a wide field of viewand the scientific method can better help students grasp the characteristics of the times,planning the road of life, Achieve self-worth and assume social responsibility. Byabove thinking, this article try to further explore the subject of "ideological andpolitical education of Sino-Japanese Comparative Study", hope to play a positive rolein strengthening and improving the ideological and political education in China. Thispaper is divided into five parts:The first part mainly described the course of development of the Sino-JapaneseIdeological and definition. From the development process of the history, theideological and political education of China and Japan has experienced fourdevelopment periods, each period has its own distinctive political features and ideas;China and Japan have different concept definition to ideological and politicaleducation, the Japanese regard ideological and political education as "moral and moraleducation”.The second part introduced the goal setting and functional of colleges and universities ideological and political education.The colleges and universitiesideological and political education goals is a measure of the ideological and politicaleducation, and it is starting point and the destination point of ideological and politicaleducation. Play social function and individual features of the ideological and politicaleducation is of great significance to promote coordinated social run and harmoniousdevelopment of society.The third part discusses basic content and method selection of the ideologicaland political education, rich content and reasonable method play a significant role forimplementation of the ideological and political education.The fourth part analysis the similarities and differences of the ideological andpolitical education of Sino-Japanese, and it is difficult point in this article. By Chinaand Japan faced the common characteristics of the times, the two countries havealways attached great importance to the development of the ideological and politicaleducation, it shows mainly training targets, goal setting, content selection, valueorientation, implementation methods five areas to analysis the similarity of theideological and political education in Sino-Japanese. And analysis differences mainlyshow in four aspects of the theoretical foundation, curriculum, practices, andevaluation system.The fifth part is based on the similarities and differences of the ideological andpolitical education in the Sino-Japanese, summed up the trends of contemporaryChina’s ideological and political education. By an objective comparative analysis,adhere to the scientific principle to excavate positive factors for us to learn from Japanin the ideological and political education. Ideological and political education in China,while inheriting the splendid traditional culture and have the world-oriented conceptof modern education, innovation and improve the content and methods of ideologicaland political education, in order to optimize the idea of China’s ideological andpolitical education.
