The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Cultivating Reserve Talents Of Competitive Swimming In Zhejiang Province

Youngster swimming reserve talents are the main forces of future competitiveswimming.Only pay attention to the construction of reserve talents can the development ofcompetitive sports have future growth.A key reason for the long-term prosperity of the swimmingdeveloped countries and regions is that they attach great importance to cultivating swimmingreserve talents.If competitive swimming wants to achieve sustainable development in Zhejiangprovince, the cultivation of reserve talents should not be ignored.This thesis mainly analyzes the current situation of cultivating reserve talents of competitiveswimming from several aspects: cultivating system, talent selection, training, competition, etc.Andthe coaches and athletes who has participated in Zhejiang Children swimming championship are itsresearch object.By utilizing documentary materials, questionnaire, interview, mathematicalstatistics and logical analysis and other research methods, this thesis makes a deep investigationand analysis of the current situation of the cultivation of youngster swimming reserve talents inZhejiang and intends to understand advantages and shortcomings of talents cultivation and putforward some corresponding countermeasures.The research result are as follows:1.The cultivationof the reserve talents of competitive swimming in Zhejiang tends to be more diverse: variousswimming training venues, swimming clubs and traditional swimming schools appear one afteranother, that sets up a relatively perfect reserve personnel training system of competitiveswimming.However the present model of cultivating reserve talents has certain deficiencies.2.Thecultivation of reserve talents of competitive swimming is implemented effectively at present inZhejiang from the perspective of reserve talent team’s age distribution, gender ratio, trainingperiod,sport grade and so on.Nowadays, the coach team structure is reasonable in terms of theirage distribution, training experience and athletic experience, etc.However, highly educated peopleis relatively lacking, according to their educated degree.In addition, their enthusiasm forparticipating in learning and training is not high.3.Coaches can master the athletes’age well whenthey select reserve talents.However, their method needs to be improved.So far, the followingproblems have been found in Zhejiang province: narrowness in talent selection, the drain oftalents,etc. Most coaches are familiar with Swimming Age Group Training Program and can establish atraining plan in accordance with it.Nevertheless, inadequate training courses is a widespreadphenomenon in the cultivation of reserve talents for competitive swimming in Zhejiang.In terms oftraining condition, training funds, teaching equipments and exercise room have more obviousregional divergence.Investment in scientific guidance and medical supervision should beincreased.5.Although having plenty of children swimming events and a more perfect competitionsystem， there are still certain shortcomings.The rationality of reward system and thecomprehensive level of referees remain to be enhanced.And this thesis makes the followingproposals:1.Strengthen cooperation in sports system and education system, share resources andbenefits.2.Expand the scope of talent selection, reduce the brain drain, improve scientificity oftalent selection.3.Strengthen the cultivation of the coaches and improve their comprehensivequalities, strengthen scientific training of reserve talents for competitive swimming and safeguardtheir training conditions4.Perfect the reward mechanism, improve the referee’s level, ensuring thejustice of sports events.
