At present, the network teaching has become an important aspect of modern education field, and it is paid more and more attention. It can be through the computer network extends to every corner of the society, not affected by time, space and personnel constraints. Learners can learn independently at the appropriate time and place, to obtain a higher quality of education result with lower cost. Under the circumstances of distance education, the teachers and students in the physical separation space, it leads to the teachers and students lack of emotional communication although the network education has incomparable superiority to the traditional education. Therefore, it is affecting the decisive factor in the effect of distance education and current problems to be solved that how to calculated and analyzed emotion in distance education.In recent years, affective computing is a hotspot to study science and psychology, cognitive science and information science. It is based on the theory of human emotions and feelings, with emotion mechanism, affective information acquisition, emotion recognition, emotion understanding and modeling, emotion expression, emotion synthesis and transfer and exchange as the research content, give a computer similar to the human emotional competence as the ultimate goal. It has become a modern network of education an important issue worthy of further study that the combination of affective computing network teaching to achieve harmony with the humane care of the emotional interactive features to enhance the learner’s learning efficiency.This paper is divided into six chapters. On the basis of theoretical research on affective computing and technology on modern distance education in the context of the application, a system model was constructed based on the study of affective computing gadgets. It can get emotional state and identify the status of each learner and learning. It was emotional encouragement, compensation and interaction corresponding to specific emotional states, and it can carry on the corresponding teaching strategy adjustment according to the learning state, in order to solve the problem of lack of emotion in network education.The first chapter of this paper introduces the present situation of lack of emotion in modern distance education, points out the research background and significance. The second chapter mainly introduces the related theory of affective computing, affective computing key technology, several common emotion model and research status at home and abroad.The third chapter describes common methods of facial expression recognition and face recognition technology.The fourth chapter establishes learner emotion model based on the theoretical dimension of emotion.The fifth chapter designs assistant learning tool on the basis of affective computing emotionally intelligent study. It describes the frame structure, features, working principle and process.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this paper. It puts forward the innovation and limitations.
