The development of basketball still directs to wisdom, strength, aggressiveness,proactiveness, quickness and accuracy in the21stcentury. The prioritization andorganization of the tactics should be combined with the condition of the team, the trendof the worldwide basketball development and the space-time consciousness, and aim toorganize and change with the shortest time and highest speed so as to gain its fullfunction. Screen cooperation, as one of the offensive tactics, refers to one of thecooperation tactics that is to block the moving way of a team member’s rival throughteam member reasonably or to block the moving way of one’s own rival through a teammember actively so as to delude to defense and start attacks. Screen cooperation, one ofthe most effective ways, functions very well in the game playing especially when toopen up the person-to-person defense.This thesis analyses the screen cooperation adopted by the Shandong Men’sBasketball Team in the playoffs of the2012-2013season by using document literature,videos and mathematical statistics and logical analysis, illustrates the significance ofscreen cooperation among the basketball tactics, and deeply analyses characteristics ofthe time, space and the position of the tactics organizer, as well as the form of screencooperation and its effect. The following are the conclusions:1. The time used, is mainly11-15seconds with a ratio of47.6%, to initiate screencooperation in positional attacks by Shandong Team, and than is6-10seconds, than24-16seconds, and than5-0seconds.2. The adoption of screen cooperation by Shandong Team focuses on field1,2and3, and the difference between them is not big.3. Screen cooperation is mainly adopted by the center halfback, the forward and the guard, among which53.0%of the screen cooperation is completed by the centerhalfback and the forward, and23.1%by the forward and the guard.4. The form of the screen cooperation is mainly the screen done by players withoutball against players with the ball, accounting for59.5%, and than by players withoutball against players without ball, accounting for31.7%.5. The effect of the screen cooperation is mainly catching, with a ratio of31.0%,scoring15.1%, and invalid screening25.4%.
