Starch polyglycosides as a new generation of nonionic surfactant,has the superior performance,good compatibility,low skin irritation,good biological catabolic,low toxicity and non-pollution etc, is a kind of environmental friendly surfactant.In this paper,based on the synthesis methods of alkyl polyglycosides, the starch polyglycosides was synthesized by the glycoside exchange with potato starch and alcohol,finded the optimum synthesis process and recycling process,determined the synthesis and recovery process of the products.The physicochemical properties of products were analyzed,researched the application of water-based detergent that we produced and the safety of that using oral acute toxicity study.The properties of starch polyglycosides surfactant products up to national standards,biodegradable to 100%.This experiment synthesized starch polyglycosides with potato starch and sweet potato starch as the raw material.Firstly,recycled the upper liquid in synthetic process,analysed the recovery of low and high carbon alcohol through liquid gas chromatography,studyed the utilization of the ethylene glycol and high carbon alcohol,by orthogonal experiment optimizate the synthetic conditions of starch polyglycosides by mixed alcohol.Meanwhile,taking the optimal degree of polymerization of final product as target,the optimal synthesis process of the starch polyglycosides was gained starting from the upper liquid in stead of long-chain alcohol.The chemical structures of the product which was synthesized with the upper liquid,was characterized with primarily FT-IR, GC-MS,and the physicochemical properties of which was contrasted with the starch polyglycosides.The results demonstrated that the product which was synthesized with the upper liquid is starch polyglycosides,and properties of which up to the national standards.The recycling methods adapt to the industrial production.This was the first time to work more high carbon alcohol off in upper liquid in the laboratory with high temperature.Separated a small of polyglycosides from the upper liquid and the chemical structures of the product which was separated from the upper liquid,was characterized with primarily FT-IR,GC-MS and the physicochemical properties were analysed.The upper starch glycoside was contrasted with the lower starch polyglycosides.The results demonstrated that the product of the upper liquid is starch glycoside,surface tension is small have very good surface tension.For starch polyglycosides have a better application in cleaning,food,pharmaceutical and other industries,investigated the acute toxicity experiments of starch glycosides.Researched the safety of that using oral acute toxicity study and fluorescence spectrum analysis.The results indicated that the half deadly concentration (LD50) of oral dosage of starch glycosides is 38806 mg per kilogram body weight.Non-ionic surfactant-- starch glycosides is security and non-toxicity.Researched its application of the starch polyglycosides surfactant,taking the starch alkyl polyglycosides as major materials and mixing non-ionic and anionic surfactant which are on the market now,the water-based detergent processing was optimized by single-factor experiment with starch alkyl polyglycosides as major surfactant formulation.Discussed the dosage of the surfactant how to affact the washing oil,rust,permeability property of the detergent,selected the optimum dosage of surfactant and determined the best formulations,tested the property and result showed that wash oil quotiety as high as 98%,permeability is 10s,pH = 89,anticorrosion is eligible.
