Liquid die forging is a kind of modern manufacturing technology, it can avoid casting hole, shrinkage, porosity effectively and with fine quality, efficiency, energy saving, low consumption, wide adaptation. Due to all of these advantages, liquid die forging technology has been widely used in industrial production. Liquid die forging hydraulic press is the foundation equipment to perform the liquid die forging technology,its strength and stiffness performance affect the safety of the whole frame and the quality of the products and production efficiency directly, In the past, the design and research of liquid die forging hydraulic press is often in a separate consideration under the force load, but the mould with certain temperature can produce certain heat influence to the frame inevitably in the actual work, make the frame produces thermal stress and thermal deformation.In this paper, taken the 6300 KN liquid die forging hydraulic press as research object, used Solidworks and ANSYS Workbench software, under the limit heat source,the thermal-structure coupling analysis of liquid die forging press was conducted under the working condition of full load, the temperature field and press-deformation distribution of the frame was obtained, then rigidity and strength of the frame was checked, and compared with the structure static analysis results of the hydraulic press frame, fined that the frame can’t meet the requirement of the stiffness when considering the heat effect and the force effect as the same time, illustrates the necessary of considering the heat effect when designing and studying the liquid die forging hydraulic press frame.In this paper, the thermal and structure factors which affect the forces and deformations of press frame were researched, fined that the thickness of cladding and the structure of moving beam have bigger significant influence to the frame’s biggest deformation, on this basis, put forward a reasonable improved scheme, to make the frame meet the requirement of the stiffness, and the gap between columns and moving beam which affects the correctness of the direction was studied under the different offset, provide a guidance to the design of column hole and installation of the movingbeam.Liquid die forging hydraulic press often under repeated loading and unloading, the latter can cause severe vibration and shaking, the columns are prone to high cycle fatigue, therefore, based on the thermal-structure analysis of the improved scheme frame, the fatigue life analysis of columns were conducted, fined that the columns meet the requirement of fatigue life and fatigue strength when considering the force load and heat load as the same time, and provide a life prediction of the columns to the actual use.
