Multifrequency drilling shaker under the same conditions showed a better effect than single frequency vibrating screen, so the processing power of the complex frequency drilling shaker and its influence factors of the research is of great significance. Current research on vibrating screen processing capacity, mainly in establishing its screening model and the experimental verification by studying on the vibrating screen of drilling fluid flow characteristics to establish and solve the mathematical equations of the vibrating screen processing ability. But concluded numerical solutions often differed with the experimental value, the numerical solution need to be revised according to the experimental data. Aiming at the situation, this paper proposes a new research method, using the Fluent fluid software to simulate the process of drilling fluid passing the screen. And obtained the flow condition and processing capacity on different viscosity, different frequency and different mesh numbers. The main works was as follows:(1) Established the calculation model of flat mesh screen, dealt with the mesh model as porous media, simulated the flowing and penetrating of drilling fluid under two conditions which included the screen stay static and vibration by using FLUENT, achieved the velocity distribution and biggest processing capacity in both conditions.(2)Analyzed the influence on velocity and processing capacity of drilling fluid with different sieve mesh numbers, drilling fluid viscosities, and vibration frequency. Obtained the law of how the different mesh size and different drilling fluid effect on the penetrating velocity of drilling fluid by monitoring the average penetrating velocity at different times and positions within one cycle.(3) Proposed a structure of the Drilling Fluid Shale Shaker Experiment and completed the drilling fluid shale shaker processing capacity experiment under different screen box angles, drilling fluid viscosity, and vibration frequency. By obtaining processed experimental data, we observed how the different parameters would affect the processing capacity of the vibration screen.(4)By comparing the simulation results to the experimental results, the simulation results and experimental results show the laws of the agreement. The maximum error between the simulation results and experimental results is approaching to11%. Error is under accepting range; this experiment proved the way of using fluent software to simulate the progress of drilling fluid through the vibrating screen is feasible.
