With the economic development in China, the water resources pollution has attracted the social concern, while the complete water sewage treatment system is the only way to protect the water resources.Due to the complex process, the sewage treatment poses high request on the degree of automaton. The earlier sewage treatment control usually adopts the manual inspection based on the hand control. The whole production process depends on the operator’s experience, which acts slowly on the accident and can not conduct the timely treatment and adjustment on the water quality change. Therefore, the advanced automatic control equipment and technology are required to design the full-automatic control sewage treatment system to improve the sewage treatment quality and production efficiency, reduce the system operation cost and provide the production workers a safe and favorable working environment.This thesis completed the following contents: the process flow of domestic sewage treatment control system, the design and development of the PLC control system and monitoring configuration design of configuration and monitoring software WinCC.1. The process flow of domestic sewage treatment system introduced the current situation of the domestic sewage treatment at home and abroad as well as the common sewage treatment methods.2. The design and implementation of the PLC control system were carried out concerning the current situation of domestic sewage as well as the treatment of the Baodian colliery. This system is equipped with two working modes including the automatic control and manual control; the control system includes the hardware and software; the hardware adopts the Siemens S7-300 PLC as the control device, while the software is designed according to the process flow by adopting the Siemens STEP7.3. The Siemens WinCC industrial control configuration software is adopted to achieve the system control management by combing the design requirement of the control system. WinCC can be integrated with various automatic equipment and control system with the flexible operation modes. Meanwhile, with good data openness and standard data interface, it can be combined with the third software system and user program easily. According to the design requirement of the domestic sewage system of Baodian colliery, this thesis chose WinCC to achieve the monitoring of the whole system and then establish the communication network and data acquisition system in accordance with the demand to achieve the system function realization.The design and application of this system has practical significance on the information construction including the domestic sewage treatment, safety production and safety operation etc as well as the scientific development of the environmental protection. After the specific design and the system realization, we can reach the conclusion that this system conforms to the control requirements of the domestic sewage treatment of family area of Baodian colliery completely. With complete function, stable operation and reliable water treatment quality, this system shall be widely applied in the current domestic sewage treatment control system.
