Along with the development of mineral resources demand is gradually rising, a lot of metal tailings after been mined has be-come a serious environmental problem to solve quickly and the sign ificant security risks,and chemical composition of tailings containing trace elements for its comprehensive utilization become possible.Chemical composition of metalmine tailings and cement raw materials are very similar,the trace metal elements and different types of cement calcination,very beneficial to saving energy and re-ducing cons-umption of cement calcination.In this paper,the Fujian Youxi lead-zinc tailings were calci-ned with the cement raw meal,using its chemical properties,eight ra-w materials formula were designed by Excel method,, by means of high temperature furnace in the laboratory, was calcined at 1300℃、 1350℃ and 1400℃,and research the burnability of raw material form ula, the heavy metals of curing rate for Pb,Zn,Cu and Cd in the clinker was reaerached by determining the content of the Pb,Zn,Cu and Cd in the raw and clinker of performance testing samples. At the end,the performance of the tailings used as cement mixed mater ial was researched.The results of the study show that,Lead-zinc tailings is added to the cement as one of the raw materials or substitute for clay is a kind of practical use,the experimental results and the data show that,add the parameters of cement mechanical properties of tailings produced is in line with the relevant est of cement standard,has the vital significance to sustainable development of cement industry.
