Adding the Pteris multifida extract powder with antibacterial function and opal powder with deodorizing function into the viscose spinning solution to produce antibacterial and deodorizing function of viscose fiber.Firstly, treat additives to adapt viscose spinning processes. We discuss three factors affected opal powder particle size in wet ultrafine grinding process, and draw optimum parameters of opal powder wet ultrafine grinding. We tested the solubility of Pteris multifida extracts. As the temperature increases, the solubility of Pteris multifida extracts increases.Secondly, prepare Pteris multifida extract, opal powder and viscose blend spinning solution, and test related performance.Viscosity test results show that the direct addition of a solid powder to produce blend spinning solution makes blend spinning solution viscosity increases, and the addition amount is proportional to the viscosity. The direct addition of a aqueous solution or hydrated liquid to produce blend spinning solution makes blend spinning solution viscosity decreases, and the addition amount is inversely proportional to the viscosity. With the choice of solid and liquid additives helps balance the blend spinning solution viscosity.Pteris multifida extract draw the water in viscose spinning solution will change the viscosity of the spinning solution, this would affect the spinning parameters. So adding an aqueous solution of Pteris multifida extracts in the experiment, corresponding directly added opal powder.Thirdly, prepare Pteris multifida extract, opal powder viscose blend membrane, and research relevant properties of the membrane. The results show that: the breaking tenacity and extension at break of different proportions of blend membranes with increasing amounts of additive showed a decreasing trend.Swelling of the blend membrane than viscose membrane is high.Antibacterial experiments show that blend membrane adding Pteris multifida extracts has an antibacterial effect. The increasing of Pteris multifida extract of antibacterial effect is weak, spinning choose F1-F3 program.Deodorization experiment described blend membrane adding opal powder has a deodorizing effect. And with the increase of the added amount, the deodorizing effect increase, added to a certain extent, the deodorizing characteristic small changes.Judging the way the effect of viscosity of blend spinning solution, the breaking tenacity and so on,we chose F2 program from F1-F3 programs as the subsequent experimental program. That is 50 mL spinning solution was added at 2mL concentration of 25% Pteris multifida extract solution and 1g opal ultra-fine powder. Then, spinning antibacterial deodorizing composite function viscose fiber and test its basic properties.By comparison with the pure viscose fiber, its initial modulus, breaking tenacity and elongation at break smaller than the pure viscose fiber.Antimicrobial additives and deodorant additives change fiber surface morphology, increasing the friction properties between the fibers, good for spinning. The effect of moisture absorption for antibacterial and deodorant composite functional viscose fiber structure, morphology is smaller than the pure viscose fiber. Finally, antibacterial and deodorizing tests of antibacterial and deodorant composite functional viscose fiber showed that the inhibitory rate was 92.46% for Staphylococcus aureus, in line with national standards for the inhibitory rate of 70% for Staphylococcus aureus. The antibacterial and deodorant composite functional viscose fiber with antibacterial function. The deodorizing rate was 93%for ammonia, the deodorizing rate was 82%for 2- nonene aldehyde, the deodorizing rate was 95%for isovaleric acid, the deodorizing rate was 97% for acetate odor.
