The chair industry, as the Traditional industry of Anji County, there are thousand chair enterprises, and the output value is more than ten billion, so it is known as the "township of the chairs industry in China". As the chair industry rapid development, many enterprises continue to promote the automation of production equipment, wooden chair back and seat as the important accessories, the drilling equipment of them have become the key point of be in urgent need of upgrading of the chair industry.For the status quo of the drilling equipment for the wooden chair back and seat needs to be improved, this topic main design a four axis NC drilling machine control system for the wooden chair back and seat. Its main function is to achieve the automatic drilling requirements for more specifications the wooden chair back and seat, and to promote upgrading the processing equipment of chairs industry.This project is to design and build a four axis NC drilling control system, the hardware system are PLC, touch screen, servo motor, pneumatic systems, sensors, Wood chip removal system and other related mechanical parts, and the core component of control system are the touch screen, PLC and servo system. This system takes PLC as the host, through the control interface of the touch screen to teach and reproduce the operation. The incremental rotary photoelectric encoder pulse signal of Servo motor is connected to the high speed counter of PLC, By showing the function button, it can make the drill bit to drill holes in different positions through the operator control the motor point by hand, record and store the coordinates of each position (The number of pulses of the encoder), And then execute written reconstruction procedure, Spindle motor drive drill will drilling hole operation according to the reproduction movement trajectory. At the same time, the PLC system control Air start fixture, dust removal system and other auxiliary equipment, coordination of the whole equipment in accordance with the established process to complete the process of automatic clamping, positioning, drilling and other operations.The main work of this thesis is as follows:1. Research Processing process of the wooden chair back and the chair seat, drilling Technology and process, drilling equipment status and Industry demand for drilling equipment;2. There will be a Mechanism design of four axis NC drilling machine, to determine the motor shaft, drilling assembly, auxiliary equipment, waste recycling system and other mechanical body structure, for each part there will be an electric type selection design;3. Main circuit control system design;4. Touch screen control interface design, PLC ladder diagram design;5. The whole control system debugging and summarized.
