With the development of new technology, that a new material had been used to geotextile industrial aspects constantly, as industrial application material should have a good chemical properties, physical properties and hydraulic properties. At present, the natural geotextile coverage on the ground and the desert to the study of soil and water conservation and to promote plant growth just begun in our country. Three-dimensional woven fabric was becoming more and more attention in industry, which the development and using of 3 d fabric at home and abroad had reached a high level, and a variety of 3 d fabric had been applied to various fields, soil and water conservation and cultivation performance just begun, but already had a broad prospect. This topic was based on kenaf as a raw material, for the purpose of achieving water and soil conservation, promotion of plant growth, using three different kinds of yarn including 496 tex yarn fineness, 575 tex, 683 tex. On the basis of plain weave structure organization, through orthogonal designed successfully on small sample loom, that trying to weave different cross section of 3 d tubular fabric. In the design weaving parameters, synthetic fabric specifications of yarn linear density, warp/weft density, weave three factors affected the performance of fabric, through the orthogonal experiment and single factor analysis weave 20 kinds of fabric samples. Which passing the fabric performance test included the square metre gram weight, thickness, aperture, water permeability, tensile strength, wear resistance, soil and water conservation, cultivation performance of geotextile and degrade performance. Which using orthogonal design and single factor analysis method of combining, from the yarn linear density, fabric structure, fabric density of single factor analysis of fabric on the slope surface sediment yield and runoff to choose the optimal parameters. This topic of the test of soil and water conservation was focused on the artificial rainfall simulation method. Firstly, it was included no fabric cover and fabric cover on the hillslope, which sediment yield decreased obviously after hillslope covered fabric, that achieving the effect of soil and water. Followed by nine different fabric specifications under different rainfall intensity on the slope surface sediment yield and production flow analysis, which it was concluded that the yarn linear density, the greater the fabric and the holding force of the soil, the better the performance of soil and water conservation. Finally, for fabric single factor analysis, the organizational structure of the fabric was more stable, which the performance of soil and water conservation was the better. This topic of cultivation plant test and fabric degradation test only did in shanxi environment and soil, through contrasting kenaf three-dimensional fabric promoted the rapid germination of plants, and degradation products on the environment pollution-free, promoted the growth of plants. This topic promoted further at home and abroad of the three-dimensional textile research to having important significance to environmental protection. It was advantageous to anew locate the use of geotextile in the aspect of environment, to promote textile and soil erosion science the all-round development, especially the application of environment more market prospect.
