Flip-flow screen is a new type of screening machine developed from the traditional circular vibrating screen. Screen mesh is made by the scalable material polyurethane rubber, screen mesh tension and relaxation alternately at work, it makes the material move forward bounce, avoid the material adhesion on the screen mesh and sieve pore blockage. At the same time, because of the flexible sieve plate, the acceleration of the sudece have reached 30 to 50 times of gravity, and the aximum amplitude of sieve plate have reached 40mm, the sieve pore is not easy to jam, it also have the high screening efficiency, large quantity, and the dynamic load is small, power consumption is less and the low noise.The paper summarizes the research status of the flip-flow screen, and summarized the structure and working principle of it. Based on the numerical simulation and multidimensional vibration theory, set the movement and stillness beams of Flip-flow screen and screen surface as the object, using the finite element simulation software ANSYS Workbench and the dynamic simulation module Simulink of Matlab to the simulation for the motion of the movement and stillness beams of Flip-flow screen and the single-particulate movement on the mesh, and analyzes its velocity, acceleration and position. The specific research results are as follows:Established the simplified model based on the working principle of the flip-flow screen, have the dynamics analysis in ANSYS Workbench, painted the square block and beam movement curve. In order to establish the mathematical model of the flip-flow screen and compare with it, analyzed the curve of X and Z direction and find out its basic laws, verify the reliability of the mathematical model.Flip-flow screen vibration model building based on the compound vibration model, break it down for the X and Y direction to solve the vibration of the model and established the mathematical model. Generation into the parameters of the simplified finite element model for numerical simulation, compared with the finite element simulation results obtained curve, test and verify the reliability of vibration model and the mathematical model. According to the simulation for Binder flip-flow screen, input the real data into vibration model and used the standard amplitude parameters in the parameter design of the rubber spring, then the trajectory of it was obtained. Through the analysis by substitution of respectively reduced or increased number of the rubber spring into the motion curve of the flip-flow screen, we found the amplitude adjustment mechanism through the curve analysis.To study on the kinetics of the screen mesh, the calculated trajectories of the moving beam and statically beam were loaded in the screen finite element model, then we obtained the parameter variations of the moving screen surface such as velocity, acceleration and so on under the transient dynamic simulation. Decomposing the moving beam and statically beam trajectories at 20°direction, the change law of the strain of the screen surface with horizontal motion was got by studying the change of strain. Through the analysis of the motion of single particle on screen surface, we get the size of the impulse force of particles to screen surface as well as the trajectory, velocity variation and change of the angle of the moving particle. Then we summarize the motion mode of the particle and it’s basic moving laws.Using the optimized design module of ANS YS Workbench to optimize the dimensions of the pentagon, and the optimal parameters under certain load was got. Based on the section, the relationship between the location of the bolt hole and the strain of the pentagon was analysed to determine the distance between the bolt hole and the square block, in order to further reduce the strain of the fixed plate on moving beam. In order to realize the optimal structure of the fixed plate with complete section optimization and certain bolt hole position on moving beam, the shape topology optimization was applied to it to remove excess part. Then carrying on the modal analysis of the optimized fixed plate to obtain its natural frequency and the easily damaged proportion of the structure.Using causal axis analysis to find the problems in the optimal design of the flip-flow screen, and the contradiction analysis according to the conclusion of it to get the solution direction of the design and the concrete implementing scheme. The solutions obtained were merged together and then comparing with the current products, thus to verify its actual use effect.
