The Shen 67 block is a secondary development oilfield block of Liaohe Oilfield Branch of CNPC in year 2008. So far, after more than 10 years of development, this block has entered a ultra-high water cut stage. The traditional development method has nearly reached the limit.Based on previous studies of reservoir description, multiple theories of geology and varieties of related modern technology, this paper has qualitatively and quantitatively made a clear description of reservoir type, external geometry, size, internal structure, reservoir parameters and fluid distribution of Shen 67 block in three dimensional space, and thus made a further fine reservoir description of Shen 67 block.By re-confirming the geological structure, this paper has made a particularly research on micro structure. After analyzing sedimentary microfacies research and oil-gas-water distribution rules and controlling factors, this paper has found some new aspects of understanding on oil test in the former wells, new-layer-founding and rolling extension potential. Eventually, it may find a way to tap the remaining oil potential in this area, to develop feasible adjustment solutions, and to improve reservoir recovery ratio of Shen 67 block.
