The coal mine drainage system plays an important role in the safety production of coal mine. At the same time, the system is also a large energy consumers, therefore, to establish a safe, reliable, economic operation of drainage system, it has a realistic significance to the coal mine production.This paper analyzes the existing problems in the research of underground drainage system, taking Tang Shan Gou coal mine in Shanxi Province as an example, we transform the existing drainage system to the automatic drainage system. In the general design, taking into account the mine hydrogeological condition is very complex, has a hidden danger of sudden flooding accident, adding the core of submersible pump to the main drainage system as exhaust system, through monitoring the flow rate of abnormal changes, Controls the exhaust system to work, and improve the safety of the whole system;The manual valve is an important component of the drainage system, transform is become electric control, it realizes the automatic opening and closing valve. The system design remote automatic, local automatic, remote manual and local manual four kinds of control modes, can be switched according to the working condition.The master control system uses Siemens S7-1200 PLC as the central controller, expansion of the analog input module, digital input module and communication module for function control, and chose the front-end equipment of system, sensors, PLC control modules of distribution of points. The system adopts the structured design in software, according to the principle of energy conservation, establish the "peak valley" drainage model and schedule operating time of pump reasonable; according to the pump logic control, establish the pump rotation system, in order to achieve the optimization of pump operation and improve the life of the pump service.The main characteristics of the drainage system developed in this paper: the various operating parameters of the system are detecting and displaying real time; water pump automatic start and stop; perfect protection and alarm functions, such as motor fault protection, water pump under voltage alarm, ect; support touch screen for local debugging; the system can be connected with the ground control center, to facilitate centralized management.During the research in this paper, cooperation projects with Xi’an Mining Automation Equipment Limited, conducting field research on Tang Shan gou Coal Mine central pump house, Datong city, Shanxi Province, develop the automatic drainage system of coal mine underground, through the debugging of the system, the feasibility of the design is verified.
