With the rapid development of economics, manufacturing industries are expanding constantly, the environmental pollution caused by the transportation of raw materials and powder pellets of some industries such as power plants, chemical plants, cement plants, pharmaceutical plants and food processing plants produces wide attention. In this case, pneumatic conveying has been gradually promoted. Pneumatic conveying is an important part of clean production, it is a process of sealed pipes to replace the traditional mechanical transport of materials and a modern logistics system for bulk materials transport, it will replace a variety of traditional mechanical conveyor with a strong advantage.This article takes pneumatic ash conveying system of power plant as the research object, analyzes its material characteristics, transportation methods, pipeline pressure loss, technical process in detail. In this article, I choose the new gas-solid resistance model to design system. The split feature of equipment and the transport mode of fly ash have been analyzed and investigated. Aiming to component wear, pipe plug, insufficient output in pneumatic ash conveying system, I raised some methods to improve equipment. At last, I design and reform pneumatic ash conveying project and achieve good results.
