Objective:Observing and comparing the effect of containing ice cube joint gargling KangFuXin solution administering in prevention of RTOM, exploring whether chemical treatment combining with physical treatment having an curativable effect, seeking a more effectivable and cheaper oral mucositis prevention effect for patients under radical radiotherapy. Methods:According to into the exclusion criteria being given, Choose40nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients, who come from oncology department of the second affiliated hospital of Nanchang University under radical radiotherapy between September2012and September2013, it can be divided into routine oral care group (group A), ice cube group (group B), KangFuXin solution group (group C), containing ice cube joint gargling KangFuXin solution group (group D)according to admission order random,10cases in each group, four groups are all performed radical radiotherapy, five times a week,2.0Gy a time,total70Gy/7weeks. since the first day under radiotherapy giving corresponding prevention measures, with reference to National Cancer Institute Common Toxicity Criteria (NCI-CTC) and Oral Assessment Guide (OAG),give the four groups of patients with A day to look at and record the situation of the oral mucosa, The occurrence of RTOM, the percentage of grade3above mucosa reaction and scores of the oral cavity under different radiation dose as the evaluation standard, evaluating the clinical prevention effect of containing ice cube joint gargling KangFuXin solution for RTOM.Results:(1)The mean and standard deviation of RTOM’s occurrence of each group was that:group A11.60±2.32, group B12.50±3.14, group C17.50±3.84, group D18.40±3.41; The comparision with statistcal significance (P<0.05) between the groups were:group A VS group C, group A VS group D, group B VS group C, group B VS group D; with no statistcal significance (P^0.05) were:group A VS groupB, group C VS group D;(2)The mean and standard deviation of oral mucosaas score under20Gy radiation dose were:group A11.60±1.58, group B11.00±1.76, group C8.70±1.34, group D8.20±0.42.Under30Gy:group A16.30±1.49, group B15.20±2.25, group C11.40±2.07, group D10.70±1.57.under40Gy:group A18.70±1.64, group B18.30±2.58, group C16.10±1.45, group D15.10±2.28.The comparison with no statistcal significance (P<0.05) between the groups under20、30、40Gy were:group A VS group B, group C VS group D;(3)The percentage of3class above RTOM, group A and group D was40%,30%,20%,20%in turn;(4)Security analysis:there was no patient exit the experiment for allergic or other adverse reactions.Conclusions:(1)Containing ice cube joint gargling KangFuXin solution therapy showed no better than gargling KangFuXin solution only therapy in delaying the occurrence of RTOM;(2)The radiation-induced oral mucositis symptoms get worsen with the increasing overall radiation dose. Containing ice cube joint gargling KangFuXin solution therapy showed no better than gargling KangFuXin solution only therapy in reducing toxicity reaction and severity of RTOM;(3)Containing ice cube joint gargling KangFuXin solution therapy showed no better thangargling KangFuXin solution only therapy.KangFuXin solution has a exactly prevention effect on RTOM, ice cube has not;(4)Ice cube and KangFuXin solution are safe in usage and has no obvious adverse reactions.
