Research On Supervision Of Private Medical Institution In Yinzhou District Of Ningbo

With the new policy action to support the private medical institutions, they gradually becomethe effective supplement to the medical service market in China, and the private medicalinstitutions in Yinzhou District develop fast these years. Through the daily supervision, we find thatmost of private medical institutions run well, they provide better and faster medical service andalleviate the shortage of medical resources. While some private medical institutions operat in poorcondition and even appear a lot of illegal acts, which bring negative reputation to the entire privatemedical institutions. Therefore, how to lead private medical institutions develop healthily is theurgent problem that the health administrative agency in Yinzhou faces. In order to strengthen themanagement and regulate the practice of private medical institutions, ensuring the safety of patients,we take Yinzhou District as research area, and choose the private medical institutions which obtainmedical institutions before the beginning of1January2013as research objects. Through ourresearch, we find that private medical institutions have the problems such as illegal practice, andlack of supervision capacity, the ways and the laws fall behind, the difficulty to get the evidence arethe problems that the department of health supervision faces. There are several reasons for theproblems we get from the research: such as the incomplete supervision basis and limited mainbody of supervision, the health supervisor are in short supply, at the same time, the limitation ofmedical insurance and the own shortage that exist in the private medical institutions and so on. Forthese reasons, we advice that the government should further open mind, try to improve the accessand exit mechanism of private medical institutions, and strengthen the supervision of lawenforcement, allow the doctors work in different hospitals and establish the ssociation of privatemedical institutions.We should try these ways to guide the institutions to regulate professional actsand support them to develop well.
