Objective: This study is in order to compare the changes of infrared imaging ofHerbal fumigation in treating knee osteoarthritis and traditional conservativetreatment for KOA through F-IRT technology, and then find an objective indicatorto evaluate the curative effect for KOA.Methods: Select23patients met the inclusion criteria of knee osteoarthritispatients in the clinical study. All patients underwent double knee DR examination. The group were treated with Chinese medicine fuming washing with traditionaltherapy with traditional therapy, before and after treatment using infrared thermalimaging technique for the detection of limb anterior knee, the medial, lateraltemperature, the average temperature of the three, and score and clinical kneetherapeutic effect index VAS and WOMAC score were compared and analyzed, onthe knee joint and knee joint of infrared temperature effect refers to whether there isrelationship between VAS score and WOMAC score. Results: The average score of WOMAC of the experimental group, control19.74average score in group WOMAC; knee pain intensity score of VAS: anaverage of7.43points score before treatment VAS; controls the infraredthermography the average temperature of29.79℃; the statistical analysis results ofthe observed data of P>0.05, showed that the difference between the patients withbaseline data had no statistical significance, the data comparability. The testbefore and after treatment of knee joint disease index: comparison of WOMACscore, VAS score, infrared thermographic temperature, through statisticalanalysis of P indexes before and after treatment were lower than0.05, whichshows the significant indices before and after knee joint disease treatment and thedifference after treatment; knee joint disease index by statistical analysis P>0.05,the index of knee joint disease after treatment had no significant difference. Thefinal comparison: analysis of infrared thermographic temperature and WOMACbefore and after treatment, VAS score were compared, scatter plot with linear trend, anomaly is not obvious, before treatment and after treatment of infraredtemperature and WOMAC score and VAS score were correlated, and positivelyrelated to.Conclusion: The limb knee infrared thermographic temperature of knee jointand the curative effect was positively correlated; infrared thermal imagingtechnology can be used as an objective index to assess the clinical therapeutic effectof knee osteoarthritis, and provide objective basis for clinical evaluation.
