Objective①To observe the clinical curative effects of XiaoYin stick plus TDP assistin curing pneumonia with dyspnea and cough (phlegm heat closed lungs), to verify thefunction of XiaoYin stick plus TDP in changing the main symptoms of pneumoniawith dyspnea and cough (fever, cough, blocked sputum, tachypnea), sign (lung,sauscultation) and laboratory indexes (chest X-ray, WBC count) of pneumonia withdyspnea and cough.②To explore the function of the external treatment of Chinesemedicine which assist in curing pneumonia with dyspnea and cough.Methods60cases of children with pneumonia with dyspnea and cough patients aredivided into two groups in random in which treatment group possesses32cases, thecontrol group has31cases. The patients who in the treatment group are given XiaoYinstick plus TDP and conventional treatment, while the control group givenconventional treatment. After observing one week, record the scores of the mainsymptoms, sign and laboratory indexes, the change of WBC count of the two groupsbefore and after treatment.Results①The curative effect of two groups contrast The effective rate of treatment groupwas96.7%, while that of control group was86.7%.The cure+efficiency of treatmentgroup is90.0%, control group is70.0%. It is proved that the curative effect of thetreatment group is obviously better than that of the control group, which has theremarkable difference (P=0.014).②The main symptoms of two groups contrast Cough (P=0.033), blocked sputum(P=0.039).Both the P are less than0.05, and the curative effect of the treatmentgroup is more obvious than control group in improving cough and blocked sputum,which also has significant difference. Fever (P=0.282), tachypnea (P=0.078).Boththe P were greater than0.05, the two groups have no obvious difference. ③The sign of two groups contrast The improvement of lung,s auscultation in thetreatment group is more obvious than that of the control group. But no improve obviouslyabout fever, tachypnea.
