| Objective:To observe the correlation of HHcy and acute cerebral infarction. To analyze the effect of MTHFRC677T gene to Hey levels. To probe the relation of MTHFRC677T gene and acute cerebral infarction. All the cases were divided to different subclassifications according to CISS classification. To investigate the relationship between HHcy and MTHFRC677T gene polymorphism and cerebral infarction of different etiology and underlying mechanism.Method:(1) This study continuously selected567cases of acute ischemic stroke onset time <7d in subei hospital neurology between January2013and March2014. All the patients were extracted fasting vein blood2ml of next morning, We measured the level of Hey by ELISA. All cases were divided to five subclassifications according to CISS classification.we compared the differences of the Hcy among these groups.(2) Random selection97cases (ACI group) from LAA type and PAD type of567cases, we extracted fasting vein blood5ml of next morning to test the frequency of MTHFRC677T genotypes and alletes by gel electrophoresis.57cases of physical examination were the health control group who were matched to ACI group on age,gender and et al.We compared the two groups of the Hey levels. We compared the Hey levels among three genotypes of TT, CT, CC. ACI group cases were divided to four subclassifications according to CISS classification. We compared the Hcy levels and frequency of T gene and TT genotypes.Result:(1) Compared to healthy control group, Hcy levels were significantly increased in ACI groups, with statistical significance (P<0.05). According to CISS classification of different etiology, we compared the differences of the Hey. Hey levels were significantly increased in LAA type, with statistical Significance (P<0.05). Compared to UE, CS type, Hey levels were increased significant in PAD type, with statistical Significance(P<0.05). But compared to OE type, there was no statistical significance (P>0.05).(2) The result of the frequency of T gene and TT genotypes were no difference(P>0.05) between ACI group and healthy control group. Compared to CT, CC genotypes, Hcy levels were increased in TT genotypes, but without statistical significance (P>0.05).(3) The result of the Hey levels and frequency of T gene and TT genotypes between four subclassifications according to CISS classification of underlying mechanism and PAD type. Compared to PAD type, Hcy levels were increased in Artery-to-artery embolism Parent artery occluding penetrating Multiple mechanism, with statistical Significance(P<0.05). But the frequency of T gene and TT genotypes had no significantly different. In the four subclassifications of LAA type, Hcy levels and frequency of T gene and TT genotypes had no difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1) HHcy is the risk factor of ischemic stroke. HHcy has the role in promoting atherosclerosis. Maybe it is the realation with PAD.(2) TT genotypes can increase Hcy levels.(3) MTHFRC677T can not be realation with ischemic stroke. |
