Objective:1.To investigate the gene polymorphism and the distribution of CD40 rs1883832 in patients among various countries, races and districts.2.To observe the epidemiological features of CD40 rs1883832 in different type of cerebral infarction patients from Shanxi Han population; Methods:The study objects were divided into two groups, case and control, blood samples were collected and extracted DNAs were tested and analyzed through PCR in both groups, all data of CD40 rs1883832 was recorded and was compared with those from other four studies at home and abroad. Case group was divided into five sub-groups based on TOAST classification, data from control group and five sub-groups were compared with each other. All above results were analyzed by Chi-square test and T test. In addition, A logistic regression model was fitted to estimate the allele C in CD40 rs1883832. SPSS 13.0 software for windows was used to all data statistical analysis.Results:(1)The frequency of CC genotype and allele C of CD40 rs1883832 in Shanxi Han population was obviously lower than those in Poland(p<0.001), in reverse, the frequency of TT genotype and allele T was higher than those in Poland(p<0.001). But above results compared with data from Japan, Guangxi Zhuang population and Hunan had not shown any statistical differences(p>0.05).(2)The frequency of CC genotype and allele C of CD40 rs1883832 in case group was higher than those in control group(p<0.05), the frequency of TT genotype and allele T was higher than those in control group(p<0.05).(3)Due to further study, inspection level was adjusted, p’=p/6=0.009, The frequency of CC genotype and allele C of CD40 rs1883832 in AT sub-group was higher than those from othersub-groups and control group(p’<0.001), the frequency of TT genotype and allele T was lower than those from CE sub-group and control group(p’<0.009), not SAD sub-group(p’>0.009).(4)By the multivariate Logistic regression analysis, allele C was shown the identical tendency in accordance with age, smoking, hypertension, family history, high sensitivity CRP levels.Conclusion:(1).Distribution of CD40-1 c/T rs1883832 in Shanxi Han population is different from Poland, the difference is not shown among different districts in China and same race.(2).CD40-1 C/T rs1883832 gene polymorphism is associated with cerebral infarction, especially in patients classified into AT sub-group. C allele as risk factor may increases the risk of cerebral infarction incidents.
