| Objective:To study the risk for ankle-brachial pulse wave velocity (baPWV) and the correlation between baPWV and early renal injury in patients with essential hypertension. Methods:To test the baPWV from the patient who were in the Internal Medicine of Xin Jiang Medical University by arterial stiffness early detection equipment VP-100made in Colin company of Japan. Collected the age, gender, blood pressure and some other clinical data. Divided subjects into normal baPWV group and abnormal baPWV group. Result:(1) The GFR in normal baPWV group was significantly higher than that in abnormal baPWV group(P<0.05); The baPWV,24hMAU, CysC in normal baPWV group were significantly lower than that in abnormal baPWV group(P<0.05).(2)The pearson correlation analysis indicated that baPWV was positively correlated with24hMAU and CysC(r=0.396,0.443, all P<0.05); but negatively correlated with GFR(r=-0.544, P<0.05).(3) Binary logistic regression showed that age (OR:1.307,95%CI:1.159~1.475, P<0.05), gender (OR:1.201,95%CI:1.169~1.385, P<0.05), low-salt diet (OR:1.127,95%CI:1.109~1.375,P<0.05), TC (OR:1.295,95%CI:1.1041.518,P<0.05), SBP (OR:2.029,95%CI:1.732~2.377, P<0.05), heart reat (OR:1.548,95%CI:1.275~1.880, P<0.05). Conclusions:BaPWV is considered to be a good index for evaluating renal injury in patients with essential hypertension. Age, gender, low-salt diet, TC, SBP, heart reat are the risk factors for baPW V. |
