To Evaluate The Therapeutic Efficacy Of H-type Hypertension By Using A Combination Of Enalapril Maleate Tablets And Different Doses Of Folic Acid

Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy of H-type hypertension by using a combination of enalapril maleate tablets and different doses of folic acid.Methods:The study was a random a randomized, blind, controlled trial of105patients with H-type hypertension who were choosing from the inclusion and exclusion criteria of Ma wangdui hospital in June2013to December2013. After the washout period and getting the base-line data, the subjects were randomly divided into0.8mg group(10mg enalapril maleate tablets+0.8mg folic acid),5mg group(10mg enalapril maleate tablets+5mg folic acid) and control group, each of35cases. Observed the the situation of homocysteine (Hcy) level, blood pressure and incidence rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events of three group.Results:(1) There was no significant difference among the0.8mg group,5mg group and the control group in base-line condition which including blood pressure (systolic and diastolic blood pressure), plasma homocysteine concentration, the course of hypertension, duration of using antihypertensive drug, et al(P>0.05).(2) After the12weeks-treatment, the plasma homocysteine concentration of0.8mg group and5mg group were lower than control group (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between0.8mg group and5mg group(P>0.05). After treatment, the plasma blood pressure (SBP and DBP) of control group,0.8mg group and5mg group were lower than the baseline level (P<0.05). The blood pressure of0.8mg group and5mg group were lower than control group (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between0.8mg group and5mg group(P>0.05). The total antihypertensive efficiency of0.8mg group and5mg group were higher than control group(P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between0.8mg group and5mg group(P>0.05). During the12weeks-treatment, the incidence rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events of each group was observed, and there was no significant difference among three groups(x=1.342, P>0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic efficacy(lowering the concentration of homocysteine and the level of blood pressure) of H-type hypertension by using a combination of a low dosage(0.8mg) of folic acid and enalapril maleate tablets is significant.
