A Comparative Of Endoscopic And Microscopy For Single-nostril Transsphenoidal Pituitary Adenoma Surgery

OBJECTIVE To compare the therapeutic effect of endoscopic andmicroscopy for single-nostril Transsphenoidal Pituitary adenoma surgery.METHODS:From January2010to January2012，164cases ofpituitary adenoma which could be treated through the sigle-nostiltranssphenoidal microscope surgery of the pituitary adenomas (microscopegroup)． And then from cases of pituitary adenoma who showedindications for the sigle-nostil transsphenoidal endoscopic surgery of thepituitary adenomas (endoscopic group)．RESULTS164cases in the microscope group，133（81.0%） casesunderwent total resection，25（15.24%）cases subtotal resection，6（3.66%）case largely resection.And279cases in the microscope group.251（89.96%） cases underwent total resection，23(8.24%) cases subtotalresection，5(1.8%)case largely resection. The endoscopic surgery resectionis good，and the CSF leaks,endocrinologic,infection complications arereduced.COMCLUSION Both endoscopic and Microscopy for single-nostril Transsphenoidal Pituitary adenoma surgeryis safe, effective and mature of pituitary adenoma resection, And thesingle-nostril transsphenoidal endoscopic pituitary adenoma surgeryconforms to the concept of minimally invasive god.
