| Objective:By observing the change of patients acnes severity before and after, evaluate the function of "clearing away heat and activating blood" and "nouri- shing blood and sooting liver" method combined with Retinoids treatment of the clinical efficacy of adult female acne,and to explore its mechanism of action,in order to further explore better treatments to reduce symptoms and improve their quality of life.Methods:In this study,a total of 60 patients were enrolled,are selected from February 2013 to November 2014 period to the first diagnosis of dermatology clinic Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hebei Province,and meet the diagnostic criteria for female adult acne,TCM for patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis.Patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, the treatment group of 30 patients,the treatment of combined heat and pro- moting blood circulation and dredging liver vitamin A acid medication was used;control group of 30 patients,the treatment of vitamin A acid medication was used only.All patients’ data were recorded at the start of treatment,four weeks of treatment,and 8 weeks of treatment including number of papules, pustules,nodules,cysts and analyzed lesions subsided rate.After statistical software to analyze the data,the results of the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05),to evaluate the effects.Results:In this study,after excluding patients who were lost, and finally number of cases come into the statistical analysis is 60,the treatment group 30 cases,30 cases in the control group.Therefore,patients meet the inclusion criteria,two groups analyzed by statistical software was no significant difference in age. After 8 weeks of treatment,were recorded before treatment,after treatment for 4 weeks and after 8 weeks of treatment changes in skin lesions of patients.Clinical efficacy:After 4 weeks of treatment the mean treatment group the index of lesion was 26.43 ± 10.61,significantly lower than the average of the control group 30.47 ± 8.20,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that treatment therapy in the treatment group 4 weeks is better than the control group;the average of 8 weeks of treatment when the treatment group the index of lesion was 7.53 ± 9.91,significantly lower than the average of the control group 12.20 ± 9.64,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that the treatment when the eight weeks of treatment effect of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.After 8 weeks of treatment,the treatment group of 30 patients were cured 15 cases,great effective in 8 cases,effective in 5 cases,non in 2 cases,efficiency 93.33%;control group of 30 patients were cured 9 cases, great effective in 6 cases,effective 7 cases,non in 8 cases,efficiency 73.33%. After statistical software analysis,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant, suggesting that female adult acne treatment group had signify- cantly higher efficiency,indicating that clearing away heat and activeting blood,nourishing blood and sooting liver method combined with Retinoids treatment to treat female adult acne much better than the simple application of Retinoids.Conclusion:Clearing away heat and activating blood,nourishing blood and sooting liver method combined with Retinoids treatment method can effectively treat female adult acne,and achieve higher clinical efficacy than the simple application of Retinoids, this method can significantly reduce the severity of skin lesions,reducing the number of lesions,improve the quality of life of patients. |
