Literature Study On Traditional Chinese Medicine Of Ovarian Cysts

Objective:This research is to screen, analyze generalize and summarize the documents of recent years about the treatments of ovarian cyst. To explore and analyze the ovarian cyst regularity in the different treatments, and to provide evidences for the clinical treatment of ovarian cyst by exploring and analyzing the dialectical law of the drugs.Methods:By retrieving from January 1998 to December 2013 China journal full-text database, Wan fang database, selects standard literature, and summarized the relevant medication. Analyzed the drug application times, frequency, type of medicine and performance (taste, and meridian) and cluster with the soft wares of Excel and SPSS 21.0, and modern pharmacology analysis as well, summarizing the drug law in the medical treatment of this diseases.Results:1. This study included 83 Chinese herbal formula of ovarian cyst treatment, involving 142 flavors, and the times of total use was 1016.Among them, the drug which have a high frequency were 23 flavors and they showed 605 times, accounting for 59.54%.The five most common use drugs of the medical treatment are as following:Zedoary(69.87%),Rhizoma sparganii(57.83%),Radix Paeoniae Rubra(57.83%),Peach kernel(49.39),Poria cocos(44.58%).2. The promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasis drugs (33.2%), antipyretics drugs (14.27%), expectorant cough suppressant and anti-asthmatic drugs(8.92%) and drug for regulating QI flow(7.63%) shared larger proportion of a total 802 times in drug treatment of ovarian cyst,whose cumulative frequency is up to 79.48%.Removing blood stasis and eliminating mass was the most popular one, accounted for 46.56% of activating blood and stasis-dissolving herbs.3. The two kinds of significant medicine property are cold and warm and the both proportion were 72.04% accumulatively. The three kinds of herbal taste of sweet, bitter and pungent, are most commonly used whose accumulative frequency is 86.28%.Drug were classified by meridian, the top five are the liver, the spleen, the heart, the stomach and the lung, the cumulative frequency of which was 76.77%.4. Cluster analysis was performed on the frequently of use of 10 times above 34 kinds drug. The cluster analysis shows that there are 5 clustering prescription and 10 groups of commonly used couple drugs.Conclusions:1. Promoting blood circulation and remove blood stasis drugs is the most common way in drug treatment of ovarian cyst, compatibility of expectorant cough suppressant,anti-asthmatic drugs, and Qi driven drug.2. The pathogen of ovarian cyst is closely related with liver, spleen and heart. This topic also summarizes the characteristics of the syndrome of intermingled cold and heat, deficiency and excess.3. According to the medicine theory and clinical knowledge, the author clusters the drugs into 5 groups and summarizes the basic treatments for various types:promoting blood circulation and remove blood stasis, soothing the liver and relieving depression, regulating Qi and activating blood circulation, invigorating the spleen and removing blood stasis, reducing phlegm and dispersing stagnated mass.4.
