Objective:To explain the changes about type 2diabetes with different Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome of Shenxu-tanyu syndrome and non-type and mechanism of serum proteins from the perspective of proteomics. Resolving the different constitution proteins phenotype between different Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromes and normal population. Methods:100 case of type 2diabetes patients are grouped by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndrome, just as shenxu-tanyu syndrome of type 2diabetes group and non-shenxu-tanyu syndrome of type 2diabetes group (including Qi and Yin deficiency、spleen hypofunction and dampness accumulation、deficiency of yin and excessive heat syndrome、Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency and blood stasis due to qi deficiency). In which there are 54 cases of shenxu-tanyu syndrome of type 2diabetes and 46 cases of non-shenxu-tanyu syndrome of type 2diabetes. Detected serum samples from all patients and 50 cases of healthy people by using iTRAQ (isobaric tag for relative and absolute quantitation) and LC-MS/MS technology. By using the mascot software, collected spectra after search and quantiative analysis. Getting the differences expression proteins between the shenxu-tanyu and non-shenxu-tanyu type and health groups. Results: Comparing with the non-shenxu-tanyu patients and healthy people, the various of proteomics of shenxu-tanyu patients are markedly changed.shenxu-tanyu syndrome group and non-group differences in the expression of 20 species, including 7 up-expressed proteins,13down-expressed proteins. And 15 proteins down-regulated,21 up-regulated proteins between Shenxu-tanyu syndrome of type 2diabetes and 36healthy, the differences are statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:(1) The proteomics of shenxu-tanyu syndrome type 2diabetes are significantly different from non-shentu-tanyu group and healthy people. (2) The proteins of shenxu-tanyu and non-shenxu-tanyu syndrome between type 2diabetes and the proteins of shenxu-tanyu syndrome and healthy controls between type 2diabetes were differentially expressed proteins in the opposite part of the protein expression process. (3)Further study of "the same disease with different syndrome" of type 2diabetes is still in progress.
