ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to through the geometric measurement method of three-dimensional coordinates of the geometric measurement of the Han nationality in Liaoning, adult mandibular CT EDMA method based on the analysis of its morphology, asymmetry(left, right side mandible morphology difference) and sexual dimorphism(difference between male, female mandibular morphology), trying to sex determination, 3D facial reconstruction forensic identification, facial reconstruction, such as deep foundation.MethodsCT scan was performed in line with the conditions of the Liaoning Han healthy adult 106 head, and three-dimensional structure to obtain the sample image data; using VG Studio 2.2 software MAX three-dimensional image reconstruction of skull, the 3D coordinates of measured samples and mandible of 12 marks, control of personnel(including researchers, researchers in between) measurement error and the instrument, software application;Win EDMA Version 1.0.1 beta analysis software and bootstrap non parametric test of mandibular asymmetry and sexual dimorphism of Euclidean distance matrix analysis, study of Liaoning Han nationality adult mandibular morphology.Results1. EDMA analysis showed that: the EDMA analysis shows that, Liaoning adult male and female mandibular shape have significant difference, bootstrap non parametric test T=1.841, P=0.001.2. Male and female skeletal mandibular symmetry results: EDMA analysis,women around the mandibular symmetry difference non parameter test,bootstrap T=1.147, P=0.001. difference between men left and right mandibularasymmetry, bootstrap non parametric test T=1.137, P=0.001.ConclusionsLiaoning Han adult mandibular asymmetry. Comparison of adult male and female mandibular shape Liaoning area difference.
