Acupoint Injection Of Salvia Miltiorrhiza And Ligustrazine Injection Combined Cobalt Amine Clinical Research For The Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective: The objective of the study is to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy clinically through salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine injection by observing the acupoint, in order to enhance the quality of life of patients with diabetes, and reducethe morbidity of the disease.Methods:60patients with diabetes peripheral neuropathy were randomly divided into2groups, which included a treatment group (30patients) and a controlgroup (30patients). Both groups are based on control blood sugar and other treatments. The control group was given cobalt amine500ug orally, three times a day.Apart from cobalt amine, the treatment group, however, was given salvia miltiorrhiza and ligustrazine injection to one side of the body in the Zusanli acupoint, crossroad of the Sanyinjiao acupoint, and the Taixi acupoint,1ml per acupoint, once per day, alternating each side of the body every two days, for a total of twocourses of treatment each lasting one month. Observation of patients’ clinical symptoms: blood sugar level, blood lipids, change of hemorheology and limbs electromyogram index.Results: the treatment group patients’ clinical symptoms, blood lipids, hemorheology and limbs electromyogram improved significantly. The acupoint injection salvia miltiorrhiza and ligustrazine can promote blood circulation to remove blood stasis, improve nerve conduction velocity. The treatment group total effective ratewas83.3%, compared to the control group total effective rate, which was56.7%;the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion: the acupuncture point injection of salvia miltiorrhiza and ligustrazine injection can obviously improve clinical symptoms in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, blood lipids, hemorheology, limb electromyography indicators,clinical curative effect is distinct and has good clinical significance.
