Research On The Relationship Between Kidney Yang Deficiency In Varying Degrees Of Elderly Men And Sex Hormone Level

Objective: Testosterone, estradiol, luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulatinghormone levels showed differences in the elderly population in different degree ofkidney yang deficiency. We observed the difference for the correlation between thetwo, and to explore the correlation of kidney yang deficiency and the hypothalamicpituitary gonadal axis. The research of the essence of kidney yang deficiencysyndrome can be rich, kidney yang deficiency syndrome system can be more perfect.At the same time, this study is to provide more theoretical basis for improving thehealth level of the elderly male patients and delaying their senility.Methods：We used the1986edition of "The Reference Standard of TCMSyndrome Differentiation" kidney yang asthenia syndrome diagnostic criteria,referenced and selected Yan Shilin "Study on the Operation Standard SemiQuantitative Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome"29factors of differentiation. Toevaluate the degree of kidney yang deficiency of78cases were examined by usingthese factors, at the same time measured their testosterone, estradiol, luteinizinghormone and follicle stimulating hormone level changes, the final analyzed therelationship between these indexes and the degree of kidney yang deficiency.Results：1.Testosterone was significant difference among the three groups, there wasstatistically significance compared with the moderate and mild. Mild and severe, moderate and severe were significant.2.Estradiol values was significant difference among the three groups, the mildand severe were significantly different, moderate and severe groups had statisticallysignificance.3.T/E2comparison among the groups had different degrees of change, mild andsevere group, moderate and severe group had statistically significance.4.Follicle stimulating hormone values three group difference was statisticallysignificant, mild and severe groups more significant difference.5.Luteinizing hormone values had significant difference among three groups, themild and severe groups had statistically significance.6.Testosterone and T/E2with kidney yang deficiency score showed negativelinear correlation.7.Estradiol, follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone three showedpositive linear correlation with the score.Conclusion：Study found that, there was a correlation between the sex hormonelevels and the degree of severity of kidney yang deficiency. Serum testosterone leveland T/E2level showed mild group> moderate group> severe group, along with theaggravation of kidney yang deficiency degree decreased gradually; estradiol, folliclestimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone levels showed mild group <moderategroup <severe group, along with the aggravation of kidney yang deficiency degreegradually increased.
