The Clinical Observations Of Qiang Xin Soup On Chronic Heart Failure Of Yang-deficiency,Blood Stasis And Water Retention Syndrome

Chronic heart failure seriously affects patients’ quality of life, even can be life threatening, the modern medicine for the treatment of chronic heart failure (strong heart, diuresis, expanding blood vessel and so on), have also made certain curative effect, But with the deepening of the treatment, the adverse effects cannot be ignored, such as drug resistance, arrhythmia, electrolyte disorder, low blood pressure and other side effects, directly affect the treatment effect. This topic is trying to find the clinical effective for the treatment of chronic heart failure and side effects of drugs, further highlight the characteristics of TCM.Objective:This research is to observe the clinical curative effect of Qiang xin soup on chronic heart failure of yang deficiency, the influence of heart function in New York heart association (NYHA) classification, LVEF, the BNP and the 6 minutes walking test.Methods:The 80 people were all chronic heart failure patients, who were treated from 2013 May to 2014 June in the heart wards of Xuzhou City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine which is the Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each group had 40 patients. The two groups were given the routine therapy, that includes diuretics, ACEI or ARB, beta blockers and other drugs according to the current relevant guidelines, while the treatment group were given with Qiang xin soup, daily 1 agent, merging two decoction, a total of 200 mL, points in the morning and at night. The therapeutic course for both groups was 4 weeks, the treatment result and differences were observed. The impacts of strong heart soup on patients with heart function in New York heart association (NYHA) classification, LVEF, the BNP and the 6 minutes walking test were observed and made analysis. All the data were analyzed with SPSS 16.0 statistical software processing. All statistical tests, P<0.05 or P<0.01 had statistical significance.Result:1. The comparison of the clinical curative effect is:Treatment group total effectiveness 95%, control group total effectiveness 75%, after statistics analysis, there is statistical significance (P< 0.05).2. The comparison of TCM syndrome integral is:Before and after treatment, two groups of TCM symptom integral were lower, with statistical significance (P<0.05). And the two groups before treatment there was no significant difference (P>0.05); After treatment, the treatment rroun noints lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05).3. The changes of cardiac function (NYHA) classification, LVEF and BNP, the 6 minutes walking test are the two groups after treatment all can improve, but the treatment group was obviously better than the control group, with statistical significance (P< 0.05).Conclusion:Qiang xin soup has clinical efficacy on chronic heart failure of yang-deficiency, blood stasis and water retention syndrome,with low drug side effects, effect lasting.
