Objective:Through the clinical observation of the patients with primary dysmenorrhea, respectively treated by routine acupuncture and "eight liao" acupuncture treatment, compares the differences in clinical efficacy between the two groups, aiming at providing a better method for the treatment of primary dysmenorrheaMethods:60 patients with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into two groups of 30 people.30 patients in the treatment group were treated by eight liao acupuncture (on bilateral, subregional, middle and lower liao), control group with conventional needle points (Guanyuan, Zigong, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Taichong),7 days before menstrual period with acupuncture treatment once every other day, three times in one month, three times as a course of treatment, patients were treated with 3 courses. The dysmenorrhea symptom scores were observed and recorded before treatment, treatment of a menstrual cycle, treatment of three menstrual cycles and 3 months after treatment. Using dysmenorrhea symptom score questionnaire recorded two groups before treatment, a menstrual cycle, treat three menstrual cycle and after treatment of dysmenorrhea symptom score at 3 months follow-up, the establishment of a database, using SPSS 16.0 software for statistical analysis.Results:1. The pain of treatment group and control group are both relieved without obvious difference, and the pain is relieved more remarkable after 3 menstrual cycles than after 1 menstrual cycle.2. After treatments of 3 menstruation cycles, the patients of the two groups were evaluated:13 cases were clinically cured,9 cases markedly effective,7 cases effective and one case ineffective, the rate of total efficiency reaching 96.67% in the treatment group; in control group,11 cases clinically cured,10 cases markedly effective,7 cases effective and 2 cases ineffective, The rate of total efficiency is 93.33%.3. The rate of total efficiency of the treatment group(96.67%) is higher than the control group (93.33%), but no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:Eight liao points acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of the patients, and eight liao points acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment, worthy of further promotion and in-depth research.
