Research On Information Sharing Between Heterogeneous Regional PACS Based On XDS-I Framework

With the development of social economy and people’s material life level enhancing unceasingly, the people put forward higher requirements for medical and health services industry.The traditional healthcare industry already cannot satisfy the requirement of new medical information industry.Now many hospitals gradually have established a relatively perfect medical information system.From the point of view of the existing system, the hospital still retains their own patient of the exclusive rights on digital information. And hospitals are independent individuals. They often keep and store patient information data based on their own system and regulations.It is very convenient for implementing the information read and check for the hospital inside. When a patient goes to another hospital for the same cause, he will need to repeat the same test. Regional PACS is gradually into the health care system, solved the difficult problem of information sharing obstacles.This thesis will mainly focus on regional PACS based on XDS-I framework for information sharing platform with the IHE Integration technology normative framework related to research and application, and according to technical framework XDS framework with other technologies and methods of business collaboration between research.It analyzes and describes the regional PACS business needs and key issues to be solved for a brief.A detailed analysis of how the heterogeneous region PACS XDS-I based on the achievement of the medical institutions to share business information will be shared. It includes the uniqueness of the patient, the method comprising the establishment of the unique identification of patients, patient ID consistency index (PIX) and cross-region EMPI patient cross-reference design methods. It tells how to complete the clinical information sharing design and clinical information sharing business. Besides it shows how is regional image sharing service designed, cross-agency data sharing and exchanging business design, including XDS registry model, document sharing method, image information sharing exchange design.In order to apply the business framework, this thesis uses the method that the combine of feasibility of the hospitals of Tangshan studying the construction of the architecture and implementation of Tangshan regional PACS. It achieves the information sharing business of Tangshan regional PACS, and analyses the framework with reality.
