Objective:Magnetic resonance imaging diffusion kurtosis(DKI) Preliminary Study of DKI astrocytoma parameter values and pathology GFAP, TopoⅡα, MGMT expression correlation. Methods:Astrocytoma collected 66 cases from March 2012 to September 2014 visit to the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical pathologically confirmed, in which high-level(WHO Ⅲ-Ⅳgrade),34 cases of low grade(WHO Ⅰ-Ⅱgrade) in 32 cases, all patients underwent conventional MRI head scan, enhanced scan and DKI scan. Through the image processing workstation, an average kurtosis(MK) chart, fractional anisotropy(FA) maps, analyzed by two experienced physicians combined with conve ntional MR images MRI scan to measure each part of the tumor parenchyma to fractional anisotropy(FA) values, average diffusion kurtosis(MK) value and GFAP, TopoⅡα, MGMT expression level. Using two-sample t test to compare parameter values between the two groups DKI and GFAP, TopoⅡα, MGMT expression level differences in each parameter value using correlation analysis of Spearman rank correlation DKI and GFAP, TopoⅡα, MGMT expression. Results:(1) the value of the high-level group of brain astrocytoma MK parenchyma was significantly higher than the low-level group(P<0.05), the high-level group differences in brain parenchyma astrocytoma FA value and low-grade group was not statistically significant(P=0.331);(2) GFAP expression of the high-level group of astrocytoma parenchyma was significantly lower than the low-level group(P<0.05), Topo-Ⅱα high-level expression in brain parenchyma astrocytoma was significantly higher than the low level group(P<0.05), high-level differences between MGMT expression in brain parenchyma of astrocytoma and low-grade group was not statistically significant(P=0.679);(3) MK value and GFAP expression was a significant negative correlation(r =-0.836; P=0.03), and Topo-Ⅱα was positively correlated(r =0.896; P=0.01), with no linear correlation between MGMT expression(r = 0.362; P= 0.05); FA value and GFAP(r =-0.562; P=0.05), Topo-Ⅱα(r =-0.153; P=0.10), MGMT(r =0.362; P=0.05) were not correlated expression. Conclusion:MK DKI parameter values astrocytoma GFAP, TopoⅡα expression was significantly correlated to some extent the application DKI can add conventional MRI, a n indirect assess the biological behavior of tumor cell differentiation, proliferation, invasion and metastasis, etc., to guide brain Star shaped cell tumor diagnosis and treatment of individuals.
