ObjectBased on testing serum CA125 level before and after high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation treating adenomyosis in 24 hours and evaluating curative effect by contrast-enhanced pelvic MRI scanning in 48 hours, this article was to observe the change of serum CA125 level,to analyze the law of the change and to dicover the significance of CA125 evaluating HIFU treating adenomoysis.Methods20 patients with symptomatic adenomyosis were treated with HIFU ablation therapy. The pelvic contrast-enhanced MRI scannings were performed before and after the therapy in 48 hours.Relevant parameters including irradiation time, average power were recorded after high intensity focused ultrasound ablation therapy. The serum CA125 levels were tested before and after the therapy in 24 hours. Pared-samples t text, correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed after all the steps above.Results20 patients completed single HIFU ablation therapy. Pelvic contrast-enhanced MRI scanning ran after those ablation therapy showed necrosis zones in each lesion.Serum CA125 levels tested after HIFU ablation therapy rose up significantly(P<0.01). The change of CA125 levels represented linearity correlation to the irradiation dose of HIFU, but represented no linearity correlation to the other parameters.Conclusion1.The serum CA125 level of patients with adenoyosis would rise up significantly after HIFU ablation therapy.2.The change of CA125 level represented linearity correlation to the irradiation dose of HIFU ablation, but represented no linearity correlation to the other parameters.3.Discovering the signifcance of CA125 evaluating HIFU ablation treating adenomoysis was supposed to need futher study.
