| Objective: To investigate the distribution of benzene occupational hazardous and its influence on the health of workers exposed to benzene at the Suzhou industrial park.Methods: Field investigation of occupational conditions was conducted to examine the existence of occupational hazards from 2012 to 2014 at Suzhou Industrial Park, and then the results of physical examination among its workers were analyzed. EXCEL database was established through field sampling, laboratory data, workers health examination results and so on. Statistical software SAS9.2 was used to analyzed data by chi square test and Z test.Results:1. The Suzhou industrial park involving benzene substances enterprises increased year by year from 2012 to 2014. Workers exposed to benzene occupational hazard also showed a corresponding increase.2. Some of the positions or workplace exist benzene occupational hazard at Suzhou industrial park, but most are below the PC-TWA.3. Health examination showed about 10% of the staff developed leucopenia, liver dysfunction and neurological function abnormal.Conclusion:Benzene related enterprises should do a good job in the corresponding occupational hazard factors, so that the occupational hazardous factors in the workplace are in line with the national occupational health standards.
