Objective: In this study, we investigated the current situation of human resource management in a hospital in Qiqihaer, in order to find the causes in human resource management, and thus we can effectively improve human resources management in the hospital. In addition, we can also enhance its development and core competitiveness in the future, so as to meet the requirements of the new medical reform. The study can provide a guidance for the development of less developed areas.Methods: 1.Subjects: We selected 300 employees out of 1200 in the hospital, covering various clinical and medical departments, including medical, nursing, pharmacy, pathology, administration and logistics personnel etc. 2.Methods: We conducted a questionnaire survey consists of a comprehensive set of multiple choice questions relevant to the human resources situations of a hospital in Qiqihar City. 3.This survey is based on the human resources information, mainly including the general situation, personnel recruitment and promotion, personnel selection, allocation, assessment, training and incentiveness, etc.Results: From the questionnaire, we found that the hospital did well in promoting the enthusiasm and staff welfare. However, we also found the following problems: very limited recruiting conduit, limited ways of interview; Lack of transparency for performance assessment mechanism; talent training mechanism needs to be improvedConclusion: Considering of the realities of human resource management in Heilongjiang Province, we suggests the followings for hospital decision-maker for human resource allocation and performance assessment: Gradually improve the human resources management system; Improve the performance appraisal system; Setup comprehensive training system; Establish the management system with the help of modern information technology. |
