Foundation Of Methodological System Based On Syndrome Differentiation And Treatment Type

Syndrome differentiation by prescription in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a vital and a modern concept which has been adopted and practised gradually. It is a selection of effective prescription, followed by processes of comprehensive analysis of clinical experience and information that are widely accepted and easily understood. Therefore, the syndrome differentiation by prescription has higher flexibility and practical in clinical applications.The aim of this study is to conduct a pilot study of Jing Gui Shen Qi Wan through a deeper classification, analysis, and establish the syndrome differentiation. These approaches will further help to choose the right applications for further pre-clinical study.The total number of 167 effective clinical cases has been gathered through Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and articles from National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and other books related to Jing Gui Shen Qi Wan 1979 to yeay 2014.By applying the modern statistical method, effective clinical cases of Jing Gui Shen Qi Wan have been analysed and compiled into various ratio and central tendency. Overall, the results of main symptom, accompanied symptoms, tongue, pulse picture, etiology, pathogenesis, and modification pattern of prescription have been obtained. The syndrome differentiation by prescription is part of the research study, it brings essential meaning and value in theoretical and practical applications.
