The Clinical Efficacy Observation On Electroacupunctrure At Cervical Jiaji Points For Neck Type Of Cervical Spondylosis

Objective:To observe the effect of electroacupuncture cervical jiaji treating the neck type of cervical spondylosis,and evaluate the electroacupuncture cervical jiaji to find an efficiacy and safe treatment for the neck type cervical spondylosis.Methods:According to the diagnostic codes and staging standards,included in 60 patients with neck type of cervical spondylosis from the acupuncture clinic of the hospital.They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,30 cases in each group by SPSS17.0.The treatment group used electroacuppuncture cervical jiaji method and the control group used the traditional acupuncture method.One time per day,seven times for a course,one course in total.Two groups of observation indexes for neck type of cervical spondylosis were McGill pain scale,the range of motion,symptoms and signs and so on. Statistical analysis:Used statistical software called SPSS 17.0 to analyze the results.Measurement data was expressed in mean±standard deviation,count data was compared with Chi-square test,paired t test for comparision before and after treatment in a group,independent samples t test for comparison between the groups,when P is less than 0.05 means a significant difference and has a significant meaning.Results:1. After the treatment, the McGill pain scale scores of both groups had dropped significantly(P<0.01).Compared between the two groups,the treatment group was superior to the contro group(P<0.05).2. After the treatment, the range of the neck’s motion of both groups were significantly better than before (P<0.01),Compared between the two groups,the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).3. After the treatment,the scores of symptoms and signs of the treatment group and control group were both better than before and both had a significant difference in each group (P<0.01), after the treatment, the difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.05), suggested that the effect of treatment group was obviously better than the control group.4. Clinical effect:the effective rate of the treatment group is 93.3% and 83.3% in the control group,a statistically significant differences existed between the effect of the two group by rank sum test (P<0.05),the efficiency of electroacupunture cervical jiaji therapy for cervical spondylosis of neck type is superior to regula acupuncture treatments.Conclusion1.Both electroacupuncture cervical jiaji treatment and general acupuncture are effective in improving the clinical signs,the pain,the range of motion of patients with cervical spondylosis of neck type.2.Electrioacupuncture cervical jiaji treatment is superior to the control group.
