Object:The purpose of the study was to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of the comprehensive therapy as electric acupuncture plus traction on Cervical-type Cervical Spondylosis. To evaluate the influence of the comprehensive therapy of electric acupuncture plus traction on cervical curvature of Cervical-type Cervical Spondylosis, and to analysis of the improvement of the cervical curvature and the correlation of the clinical efficacy.Method:One hundred and twenty-two cases of Cervical-type Cervical Spondylosis were included into this clinical trial and randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treat with the comprehensive therapy of electric acupuncture plus traction,and control group was with the therapy of electric acupuncture treatment. The results were assessed on the symptoms, signs, VAS score and cervical curvature improvement.Result:1.There was nearly significant difference regarding improvement in treatment with electric acupuncture plus traction than with electric acupuncture(P>0.05). But at the clinical cure rate, the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).2.Symptoms and signs score:Comparison in the group,both groups in ease symptoms and signs had significant difference(P<0.05) after 15 times and 30 times.Comparison between groups,both groups after 15 times of treatment in alleviating symptoms and signs of significant difference (P< 0.05), after 30 times of treatment,the treatment group was better than control group (P< 0.01).In symptoms, after 15 times both treatment at easing stiff neck shoulder pain had no difference(P> 0.05), but the treatment group can improve neck shoulder acid bilges situation (P< 0.05).After 30 times after,the treatment group relieve symptoms was better than control group (P< 0.05).In terms of signs,both groups after 15 times of treatment in improving the neck shoulder tenderness, lateral flexion limited no difference (P> 0.05), after 30 times the treatment group was better than the control group (P< 0.05).In improving the neck stretching and rotating after 15,30 times,the treatment group was better than control group (P< 0.05), and after 30 times the treatment group was better than control group (P< 0.01).In improving neck flexion activities, two groups after treatment after 15,30 times was no difference (P> 0.05).3.In terms of cervical curvature, both groups can effectively improve cervical physiological curvature (P< 0.01), but the treatment group was better than the control group (P< 0.05).4.In terms of VAS scores, two groups had significant effect (P< 0.05);But after 15,30 times the treatment group relieved pain more obviously (P< 0.01).5.The improvement of cervical curvature was positively related to the symptoms and sign score.6.Follow-up symptom and sign score and VAS score:the treatment group was better than control group (P< 0.01).Conclusion:1.Both two therapies were efficient for cervical-type Cervical Spondylosis, and can well improve the cervical curvature. The treatment group was better than the control group at clinical cure rate. At the same time, the treatment group had better efficiency on symptoms, signs, pain score and cervical curvature improvement.2.Cervical curvature was valuable in therapeutic assessment of cervical-type Cervical.
