| A massive outbreak of dengue fever in Guangzhou city in 2013, had a great impact on people’s lives and health.The outbreak of the epidemic, shown that there are many loopholes and shortcomings in the prevention and control of dengue fever epidemic.What`s more, there are many similarities between Singapore and Guangzhou, such as the geographical position, the location characteristic and so on. Singapore’s social and public health management system and social governance system is relatively perfect, and in 2003 SARS prevention and control, Singapore was highly praised by WHO. In dengue prevention and control, Singapore’s prevention and control model is relatively perfect, which helped effectively control the outbreak of dengue fever outbreak. As two areas have similar characteristics, Guangzhou can learn advanced experience from Singapore, from dengue prevention and control department responsibilities to the specific epidemic situation management, Singapore has a lot of experience can be used as a reference. Therefore, this article analyzed Singapore`s dengue fever prevention and control of vector monitoring and control, legal mandatory norms and public education and community outreach measures, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions, which can improve the prevention and control of dengue fever in Guangzhou. |
