Study On Occupational Standard Construction Of The Mother-infant Care Helper

Objective:This study aims to based on understand the current mother-infant care helpers’ occupational cognitive and work role, according to the current status of mother-infant care helper, to construct a scientific mother-infant care helpers’occupational standard as an effective instrument to promote the development of mother-infant care helpers of standardization and professionalization,to provide effective guidance for mother-infant home care services and training institution,to provide a reference basis for government departments.Methods:Based on the results of literature review and theoretical analysis, through semi-structured in-depth interviews with mother-infant care helpers, managers of mother-infant home care services and maternal, then constructed the indexes of mother-infant care helpers’occupational standard; The standards system was established based on two rounds of Delphi consultation. Meanwhile, the positive coefficient and authority score of expert advice were calculated through mathematical statistics, in order to test its reliability and representativeness.Results:1.Through semi-structured interview with 14 mother-infant care helpers, managers of mother-infant home care services and maternal:(1)Made clear what are mother-infant care helpers’occupational cognitive:high-level domestic helper and auxiliary nursing personnel; (2)and what are mother-infant care helpers’work role: caregivers, consultants, educators, coordinators and managers; (3)and what are their work scope.2. According to the universal framework of occupational standards to constructed four parts of professional standard of the mother-infant care helper:vocation situation, basic requirement, work requirement and ratio table, and mother-infant care helper was graded as preliminary, vantage, advantage and technician(Ⅴ, Ⅳ, Ⅲ, Ⅱ) in accordance with difficulties ranges from low to high. The standards was established based on two rounds of Delphi consultations of 15 experts which are from fields of mother-infant education,scientific research, management and health care administration.3.The enthusiasm coefficients of experts for two rounds were respectively 93.7% and 100%, the average authority coefficient of experts was 0.90; The mean of the importance of the index more than 3.5 and the coefficient of variation less than 25% was used to screen index, the respectively and reliability of experts are good, the rationality and scientificity of the mother-infant care helpers’occupational standard is good.Conclusion:The mother-infant care helpers’ occupational standard established through literature review, semi-structured interview and Delphi expert consultation method is scientific, reasonable and reliable; It provides reference for standardization of mother-infant care helpers management on the one hand; On the other hand, it proposes clear development requirements for mother-infant care helpers and purposeful guidance for step-by-step development; Besides, it also provides beneficial references for government departments to quantify and train the mother-infant care helpers.
