The Application Of Interpretive Theory In The Interpretation Of Political Discourse And Ancient Chinese Poems

With the rapid growth of economy, all countries are deepening their cooperation in the fields of politics, economy and culture. As a result, interpretation is playing a more and more important role in our social life. In all professional interpretive theories, interpretive approach is undoubtedly playing a leading role among all of them. Interpretive approach lays emphasis on sense transfer not simple word-by-word translation. Interpretive approach offers us new techniques and perspectives to transfer not only meaning of the original text but also its sense. Interpretive approach divides interpretation process into three stages:interpretation of discourse, de-verbalization and reformulation.In this paper, the author mainly focuses on the application of interpretive approach in interpretation. The analysis of these examples in this paper is based on the three stages of interpretive approach to reformulate original texts in order to transfer the meaning and sense of original texts. And all examples are from practical interpretation situation. The listed examples could be divided into interpretation of political contents and Chinese poems.This paper is divided into three parts:literature review, examples of interpretive theory in interpretation. Through simplest theories, this paper concludes techniques to solve problems we may confront in practical interpretation and make analysis of the effects of interpretive approach in interpretation.
