The Structure And Performing Analysis Of Accordion Solo"Partita" By Kusyakov

Russian people have a lot of feelings for accordion. In the mid and late-20th century, large number of outstanding Russian composers created works for the free bass accordion, in all kinds of the styles, genres and the variety forms. As one of the most representative national musicians, Kusyakov created a lot of classic works for the free bass accordion."Partita", a product of creation interim of Kusyakov, not only shows the excellent composing skills of the composer, but also his perfect use for free bass accordion.I have repeatedly performed "Partita" in competition and concert. As a performer, I try to study the performing skills of the work, analyze the structure and materials in order to understand the creative intent and musical content and ultimately complete this very large-scale work well.This thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter gives an overview of Kusyakov and his compositions, which covers the composer himself and his works, the creative features of the accordion works by him, and his contribution to the accordion.The second chapter analyses the music structure of "Partita", including the breakdown interpretation and expression of music by chapter and understanding the subtle connection of each part.The third chapter covers the performing tips and advices of "Partita", including the analysis of how to perform the work with piano accordion, the technical difficulty, emphasis and how to grasp the overall.In Kusyakov’s accordion compositions,"Partita" has a certain status and significance. It shows the proficiency of traditional compositional techniques and modern compositional techniques. Currently, the analysis of the free bass accordion work "Partita" is rare. Through the research and analysis above, I try to put forward some ideas and thinking, hoping to be able to provide information and help to accordion performers.
