The Study Of The Phonology System Of Xiacang Dialect

Susong belongs to Anqing city of Anhui province and is located in thesouthwest of Anhui,which have a common boundray with Jiangxi province and Hubeiprovince.According to the Language Atlas of China, Susong dialect belongs toHuaiyue cluser of Gan dialect. Because of immigration and language contact，，Susongdialect is both Gan dialect features and Jianghuai Mandarin features. It is significativeto decrible Susong dialect and compare Susong dialect with other dialectscomprehensively. This thesis takes Xiacang town dialect as the research object. It ismainly divided into four parts: in the first part, described the innitials,finals and tonesof Susong dialect systematically; in the second part,compared the phonology ofSusong dialect with the phonology of Middle Ancient Chinese, summarized theevolvement rule of Susong dialect; in the third part,compared the phonology ofSusong dialect with the phonology of neighboring Anqing dialect，Huanggang dialectof Jianghuai Mandarin and Poyang dialect, Nanchang dialect of Gandialect,summarized the features of Jianghuai Mandarin and Gan dialect in Susongdialect； in the fourth part which is a subject, researched the initial consonant1ofSusong dialect. We try to uncover the phonetic features, internal differences andevolution rule of Susong dialect, discuss the relationship between Susong dialect andJianghuai Mandarin,Gan dialects,provide evidences for the ownership of Southwestdialect of Anhui, enrich the research of Jianghuai Mandarin and Gan dialect,accumulate experience for the study of the dialect contact of transition zones throughthis thesis.
